2 day workshop or 6 week program

Overview

The Managing pain program was designed to help you learn about effective pain management strategies.

The program will help you understand:

  • Chronic pain and understand that you are not alone in your struggle with chronic pain

  • The link between the physical and psychological aspects of pain

  • The relationship between thoughts and pain, and introduce you to strategies to challenge/change your thoughts

  • The relationship between your behaviour and pain, and introduce you to strategies to change what, and how, you are doing things

  • The importance of lifestyle factors in your pain management, and introduce strategies for managing these lifestyle factors, and

  • Your pain beyond the program, with the help of a personally developed Pain Plan.
