Overview

TheĀ Understanding anxiety program teaches strategies and skills for managing anxiety.

The program will help you understand:

  • That you are not alone in your struggle with anxiety

  • The impact of military training and experiences on anxiety

  • The impact of your thoughts on anxiety, and introduce you to strategies that challenge/change your thoughts

  • Your behaviour on anxiety, and introduce you to strategies to change what, and how, you are doing things

  • A range of lifestyle factors for managing your anxiety, and introduce strategies for managing these lifestyle factors, and

  • That you are equipped to manage your anxiety beyond the program, with the help of a personally developed Relapse Prevention Plan.
