Expressions of Interest now open for National Advisory Committee
Expressions of Interest are now open for individuals who want to contribute to the mental health and wellbeing of veterans and families of veterans by joining the Open Arms National Advisory Committee.
The National Advisory Committee plays an important role in supporting Open Arms – Veterans & Families Counselling. The Committee provides advice on emerging issues, community perspectives and service priorities, helping to ensure Open Arms services remain responsive to the needs of veterans and families.
Committee members bring a broad range of skills, experience and insights. Applications are encouraged from people who have relevant professional or lived experience, and a strong understanding of the veteran community. This may include experience in mental health, wellbeing, governance, leadership, community engagement or advocacy.
Open Arms values diverse perspectives and experiences. People from different backgrounds, locations and life experiences are encouraged to consider applying if they are passionate about improving outcomes for veterans and their families.
